Trailscape and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort are teaming up to provide clients with the ultimate summer destination full of activities for every age and skill level.
We have a passion for building custom trails for our private clients on their property. We also get giddy when we have the opportunity to partner with local businesses like Dodge Ridge! It is our mission to help them provide an unparalleled experience for their guests through the use of our trails.
Dodge Ridge, is the closest ski resort to the Bay Area and Central Valley in California. Therefore, their location makes them an ideal destination for those nearby. At the same time, Dodge Ridge is an ideal vacation spot for tourists flying in as it is an easy drive from Reno, Sacramento or San Francisco airports.
This will be the resort's first season of chairlift-accessed Mountain Biking. All trails will descend from the top of Motherlode Chairlift 3 at the 7,400 foot elevation and traverse out across the mountain. Each trails will consist of a variety of options for different skill levels. We aim to provide the rider with the perfect balance of thrill and chill around perfectly sculpted berms, switchbacks and technical trail features.
Currently, the crews at Trailscape and Dodge Ridge are working hard to get the first trail with over 5 miles of beginner and lower intermediate terrain done sometime in August. As with any outdoor project, we're always at the mercy of mother nature so be sure to stay tuned for more details.
Once we complete the first section of trail, we'll continue to build additional trails throughout the summer and into fall, introducing more intermediate to advanced trails, with over 9 miles planned this season.
On top of the bike trails Dodge Ridge has done an excellent job of creating killer summer features including:
2 disc courses (one beginner and one intermediate/advanced) with free clinics every Saturday and Sunday
Base Camp Bar + Grill where you can grab some grub for a picnic at the top of the mountain or stay for dinner with live music and games
