Backyard Trails
We love building trail in the backyards of families. People love their land and to be able to make an easy way for them to enjoy their properly is a true honor. The only regret I hear is that they wish they had done this sooner. We keep the names and locations of these trails concealed to protect privacy.

Calistoga Ranch Trail
This is a premier resort that had mediocre and rather difficult trails. We added trails that lazily meander the landscape and made nature accessible to those that might not be the most robust hiker.

China Peak Trail
This was an amazing trail project. Most of the trail was located on moderate ski runs. It snowed four inches the night before I started. To lay out the trail we drove the quad in the snow to locate the flow of the trail and returned a few hours later and started cutting. The finish was to be done by the incoming snowmaking crew to help get them in shape for winter. We wanted to get this done before winter so the trail could season before the summer bike season.

Genoa Hiking Trail
One of the toughest assignments to date. This trail is a 14 mile decent from Genoa Summit above Minden, Nevada to the little town of Genoa. It is built through Steep and rocky terrain with dozens of switchbacks, some of which were built on 90% slopes with Sutter retaining walls. The views are dramatic!

Mount Shasta Gateway Trail
One of our favorites, seven miles of trail in the foothills of Mount Shasta just behind the high school. This is a flowy bicycle oriented trail that is hopefully just the beginning of a full network of trails for this intimate little town!
Shasta, CA
Sugar Bowl Ski Area
We designed a plan for 6 miles of trail at Sugar Bowl Ski Area. We completed two miles from the Disney Lodge to Lake Mary so now people can make a trek that not only connects those important amenities it also delivers the walker to the Pacific Crest Trail as it heads over Donner Summit.
Donner Summit
Tahoe Donner Association
The Association is beginning to expand into adjacent lands and asked us to cut the first mile. We think this is some of our best work ever! The client desired generous undulations and meander in this trail to complement their straight and steep hiking trails.
Tahoe/Donner, CA
Truckee Donner Land Trust
We replaced a 12% straight road with a 5% meandering trail by adding for switchbacks and a doubling of the length of the segment.

Woodside Trails
This was a for sale $10,000,000 property on 10 acres. The challenge was it felt like only two acres. We made the whole property accessible and fashioned meditation/celebration spots to enjoy nature together.
